Lewis Hamilton is the youngest F1 Champion ever at age of 23

Lewis Hamilton won the Formula One championship by one point, making history and clinching the title with an overtaking move on the last lap to finish fifth in the season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix today. The 23 year old Briton edged Felipe Massa to the title even though the Brazilian won his home race at Sao Paulo's Interlagos after starting in pole position.

The racing phenom is expected by many to rival Tiger Woods and Davis Beckham in celebrity status.

Formula One championship leader Lewis Hamilton

British Phenom Lewis Hamilton is on the brink of making history as the youngest F1 Champion. He has become the victim of countless racist slurs and even death wishes on Spanish websites as he is poised to take the title of the youngest F1 Champion from Spain's Fernando Alonso. All Lewis Hamilton has to do to win this year's F1 world championship is finish fifth or better in Sunday's Grand Prix of Brazil.

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS! THE PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES WIN WORLD SERIES

The Phillies are the 2008 world champions, with Brad Lidge closing out a 4-3, unbelievable Game 5 victory over the Rays to end the season in style at Citizens Bank Park and bring the kind of joy to The City of Brotherly Love that you couldn't imagine.

Horns were blaring, screams in the distance and the explosions of fireworks filled the night. The Phillies won the World Series and the air tonight was electric. Strangers hugged and I have random high fives to passers by. Everyone young and old came out of their homes and headed toward the nearest major intersection.

The Phillies are World Champions and the parade is Friday. One down and an election to go. I can't get that tune from Queen out of my head, We are the Champions!

Philly Takes 3-1 Lead Over Rays In World Series

Blanton became the first pitcher in 34 years to homer in the World Series, Howard drove in five runs with two homers and the Phillies romped over the Tampa Bay Rays 10-2 on Sunday night to move within one win of their first championship since 1980. Jayson Werth also homered as the Phillies took a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven Series. Cole Hamels will try to close out the Phillies' second Series title on Monday night against Scott Kazmir in a rematch of Game 1 starters. Hamels (4-0) is trying to become the first pitcher to win five postseason starts in one year. Of the 42 teams to take 3-1 World Series leads, 36 have gone on to win the crown. "It will be absolute bedlam," Howard said of a Phillies' possible title. "It will be one of the craziest places on Earth. It's kind of scary to imagine."

Rio Ferdinand

Football phenom Rio Ferdinand is frustrated at the lack of progress into the investigation of fans who hurled racial and homophobic taunts at their team's former captain, Sol Campbell. Rio says life bans of the fans should be imposed. Sol Campbell was taunted by anti-gay and racist insults and a deplorable song claiming he was HIV positive. The rumors—and insults—began when he left Tottenham to play for a rival team.
