McCain admitts to Letterman - "I screwed up"

Tonight John McCain appeared on Letterman; he made another huge error in judgment, this time is was by appearing. Letterman was at his best, I was laughing out loud and texting friends to be sure they were tuned in.

Senator McCain was prepared to take a little ribbing and came with his own scripted jokes to break the ice. He admitted that he had not had so much fun since his last interrogation when referring to the public spanking Letterman gave after his cancellation. At one point McCain stated that, if elected, he would not raise anyone’s taxes but Letterman’s.

Sadly McCain believed that he could regurgitate his standard campaign responses and not answer questions from Dave. Gee, golly whiz, he sure was wrong. Letterman was in classic form and was not tolerating McCain’s non-responses. After forcing McCain to address his actual questions Letterman stated; “either you are right or wrong, either you know what you are talking about or you don't”
