I am such a geek, especially on Monday evenings when my favorite show is broadcast on NBC. Not since Captain Picard was in command of the Star Ship Enterprise have I been so infatuated with a science fiction television series.The third season of Heroes, entitled "Villains" launched approximately three weeks ago to much fanfare and a pre-show celebration; after all this show has proven to be a cash cow for the network. Each week I am delighted by the plot development and character reveal. I even watch the rerun each following Tuesday online at http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/ . I have yet to delve into the entire online world of Heroes Evolutions, but time will tell.
My desire to purchase the newest release of each DVD faded away about two years ago with the introduction of Blue Ray. I was no longer compelled to purchase the most recent Tuesday release of every film; I was no longer deluded into believing in the DVD's worth. However, I find myself wanting Seasons One and Two of Heroes. So just in case you had a desire to purchase this geek a gift you could not go wrong with a Box Set.
