I am amazed at what actually makes the cut from straight to video and a major studio release. Max Payne is painfully awful, but it will draw viewers simply based on Wahlberg's descending star power. The only merit of this film is it reminded me how much I loved "Constantine".
We were the only ones who bothered to read the credits, we wanted to know who to blame for this crap. Spoiler, at the end of the credits the film picks up with another scene. It was absolutely terrifying, as it alluded to a sequel.
